About Jeff and Rachel Owen
Our love story started at a wedding. Now we capture the most special moments in other people’s lives.
We’re Jeff and Rachel, and we met while photographing a wedding. It’s fitting that the work we love brought us together.
Photography is our passion. We’ve spent years honing our craft, won multiple awards, and been flown around the world to teach other photographers. We love what we do, and we feel incredibly blessed to make a living doing it together.
We grew up in Lemont and have always called it home. It’s where we live with our son and three fur babies—and where our storefront studio sits on Canal Street, a few doors from the places we grew up.
Whether we’re photographing your wedding, your family, your headshots, or a boudoir session, we bring the same thing to it: we notice the little moments, we make you comfortable in front of our cameras, and we don’t stop until the photographs are ones you’ll treasure.

Our Studio
311 Canal Street, Lemont, Illinois
We bought our building — and a piece of downtown Lemont history.
The historic 1876 T.F. Friendley Building, once home to Chicago’s original maker of tin ceiling tiles. We were recently able to purchase it, and we’re so excited to call this downtown Lemont landmark our studio.

Bad photos leave bad impressions.
And they don’t create great memories.
The flowers go. The dress gets boxed up. The meal becomes a story you tell a few times and then stop telling.
The photographs are the part of the day you actually keep. Which means if they’re blurry, badly lit, or missing the moment you’ll never get back—that’s what you’re left with.
